Briana is thrilled to be making her On the Spot debut! She is a recent graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Meisner Studio for three years and at Stonestreet Studios for Film and TV during her final year. Regional theatre/NYC credits include: Courted (Snow White), Sauce/Gravy (Rosa), On the Town (Ivy Smith), Meet Me in St. Louis (Lucille Ballard), Crazy for You (Tess), The Children's Hour (Rosalie), Robert O'Hara's Good Breeding (Dionysus/Senator), Arthur Miller's Playing for Time (Lotte), The Chekhov Project (Irina), and Bottled Up (Valerie).
Briana has also been in a number of short films, including the NYU thesis film Love, Scarlet and the horror short Cat’s Cradle. She has experience being on major film/TV sets, including the new HBO series Vinyl, produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger. While still in school, she booked a commercial for Sam Edelman and its parent company, Brown Shoe Company. Since then, she was chosen to be a featured model/personality in a modeling anthology series being presented to HBO in addition to modeling jewelry for Chakra by Saama's fall/winter Lookbook.
Briana currently resides in Manhattan and when she isn't acting and honing her craft, you can find her at the front door of the Michelin star-rated Minetta Tavern on Macdougal Street. She also babysits and dog-walks to help supplement this crazy, awesome dream of hers. She just started taking Improv classes at Upright Citizen's Brigade in NYC and continues to create opportunities for herself, whether that means networking with casting directors and other industry professionals or collaborating with other artists. For mom, Defying Gravity.
